Epsom Audi rock (and warranty claims)...

I have just had a call from Epsom Audi to say my car is [finally] ready after its' gearbox rebuild. It took a while (three and a half weeks), but hats off to them. It only really went in for a seatbelt. It is coming out with new rear diff seals, new seatbelt, new power steering pump, and a gearbox rebuild.
The latest [very acceptable] excuse for the delay was that when they fired it back up they felt the idle was a little rough. I had noticed this before, but ignored it as it has been like that since I got it, and VAG-COM had no errors. Anyway, they weren't happy with it so they tracked the problem down to faulty lambda probes which they promptly replaced and cured the roughness. [img]images/graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]
They even replaced the clutch for me at parts cost +15 minutes labour whilst they were doing the job.
I would highly recommend them to anyone in their locale (Epsom, Surrey - 01737 365365). Hats off to them for being so thorough [img]images/graemlins/clap.gif[/img]
