if you are already with NU they will reduce cover on your policy to fire and theft whilst in storage!

apart from that your stumped realy.

I have insured quite a few cars in storage, mostly Ferraris, both new and classic. All have been on classic car insurance which offered substantial discounts if the vehicle is stored or on limited mileage. I tended to have a 1000 mile limit which meant I was covered if I did want to drive them at any point (I was working overseas). At the moment I have an agreed value policy on an original '64 Cooper S that I use for hillclimbs with a 3000 mile limit and a rebate if I do less and that costs peanuts.

Hope the info is useful - I think the NU only offer Classic Car policies to cars of a certain age, but this isn't the case with all insurers...

Good luck!
