Hey audi owners!

My audi rs4 grinds the 3rd gear.I took the car to the dealership for a DRC recharge and when i took the car from them the 3rd gear grind started.
When you drive normal and change smooth it doesn't grind but when you upshift fast from 2nd to 3rd it grinds all the time.Also when you downshift fast it grind.
I press the clutch all the way.Also a friend tested my car and he noticed the same 3rd gear grind.I order redline transmission and diff fluid because my car has 122.000 kms.
I have my RS4 for a few months , and the books service doesn't have a transmission fluid or a diff change since it was new.

Any help would be highly appreciated!

Might be the 3rd gear synchro.
I had to have my gearbox rebuilt for this reason.

let's hope it's not the synchro.For now i'm going to replace the tranny fluid and see how it goes.
How many Kilometres does your car has ?
does it grinds the 3rd or all the gears?

It had done about 70000 miles / 113000 km when I had the problem.
It only happened on 3rd gear.
See how you get on with the transmission oil change first.

I orded the redline fluids today.
I took a look on JHM's website to be prepared for the synchro.
I was on a country road yesterday chasing an R8 v8 but i was hesitand to downshift and upshift fast on 3rd.
I'll keep you posted how the grind goes after tranny fluids change.

HEY

The 3rd gear grind stop after i change the trans oil.
the trans oils was very dirty.
