Possibly the most surreal experience over the last couple of months trying to buy 2 throttle bodies for my '07 S6.
To start with Audi wanted c £1200 each (for a butterfly valve & 50 pence of electronics), then decided they didn't have any.. c£300-400 was the average for distributors for the Bosch part, which is the OEM model fitted to my car.
Then every supplier online or everywhere also ran out.
Bosch confirmed directly they will be providing stock from mid-Dec, but gave details for distributors who will not stock the part eg eurocarparts.
Smaller distis who had stock in the past have been giving new price lists by their suppliers that don't include the part.
So I have a S6 shaped 2 tonne paperweight on my drive.
FFS - anyone have any hints on how to get hold of Bosch Throttle Body 0280750489 ???

Google is your friend. Last one looks to be the cheapest and lists all compatable vehicles.
Cheers

Thanks for the replies.
I've been through eBay.de and the 2 uk distributors linked above. No joy
I got fed up and got one of my ex-colleagues in Germany to email the CEO of Bosch asking why it was so hard to buy a part from them.
This was fairly recent, so I don't know if its connected, but Bosch uk replied to one of my emails to tell me that they had spoken to my nearest Bosch disti and they would order the part for me. It was ready for collection in 48hrs - £375.
Why it had to be this hard I have no idea...
