RS4 prospective buyer

I came across this group while researching my desire to own an RS4. I have wanted one for years but my life now makes this realistic. I am thinking that a 2013/2015 car would suit me financially. Preferably with less than 35000 miles and FSH.
BUT.....I am horrified by the problems and poor service from Audi dealers. Is this just the impression that any forum gives or are RS4s really so unreliable.
I live just south of Leicester, can anyone recommend a dealer that is actually OK? Audi or independent.
I can handle the normal running costs and will cover about 10000 miles per year. I am prepared to take a warranty but being faced with all the apparent hassle and lost use while its repeatedly fixed is not my idea of satisfactory ownership of anything.
Any comments?

I am pretty new to this forum and joined a few weeks ago when I bought an RS6. This is also my first ever Audi. Whilst I am new to this forum I have been on other forums for years and I would say that forums in general can give a pretty distorted view of the reliability / quality of cars. Human nature is such that people rarely ever bother to write about how much they are enjoying trouble-free motoring with their pride and joy, so by default forums are typically full of the bad stuff. I suggest you go look up forums for other manufacturers and you will see what I mean. They are all the same. It would put you off buying ANY car if you used the forums as your only source of pre-purchase info.
Of course cars are machines and thing go wrong or break - same for any manufacturer - and people will write about it when it happens.
Don't get me wrong I am not bashing forums, they are an excellent place to get input from genuine experts (not dealers who have merely learned the manufacturer's scripts and are of course trying to sell you something). If you have a query, a problem, or a positive story to share, there are people on the forum who will answer, help, give advice, smile along with you. Forums are great.
If you haven't done so already then go test drive a few RS4s and make sure it is indeed the car you want. If it is then the forum can help you with buying advice (what to look out for etc).
Hope this helps.

Hi can anyone help answer a question I have about carbon clean on the RS4 B7, is this an issues only on this engine or all cars? Also if it is only on RS4 B7 then how often should you get this done?

Ult3453 an RS4 B7 is an out and out sports car. You will need to spend to keep it on top form. Spartan25k if you tootle around town you need a yearly clean.
Audi Cov (Listers) love my RS4 and their service is top grade and are just 1.8 miles up the road from me.
MRC are the specialists, tuning experts and come highly recommended.
I read many threads with people trying to run these cars on a shoe string, NO
