Hi;
I have a 2013 S5 with S-Tronic transmission. I have had no issues with the car and have become quite uncaring about what the gearbox is doing.
However, unless I am losing my mind, I am pretty sure that until a few days ago my gearbox (in auto mode) would read D1, D2, D3 Etc; and in Sport with lever flicked to right or using paddles, would read S1, S2 S3 etc.
NOW, I am seeing E1, E2 and E3 etc (in auto mode) and M1, M2, M3 in Sport.
Is it me or has something changed?

E is economy mode and M is manual, lever pulled back when in Drive changed to sport regardless of drive select option

How can I re-enter Drive mode from E?

Update: I have realised what has happened. My girlfriend adjusted the car's choice of "attitude" while looking for the Navigation settings the other day !!
