Tempted by RS4

Post by Ducatikid » Thu Mar 17, 2016 12:01 am

Hi everyone. I currently own a 2015 S4 saloon and absolutely love it, but recently visited the Audi dealer and they have an RS4 for sale. I'm hoping to have a test drive soon and was wondering what you RS4 owners are getting mileage wise. I'm getting around 300 miles from full to empty with a couple of long trips showing just over 400 miles. Failing that, I may look into remapping mine. Cheers, Lee.

The S4 is your girlfriend / wife

The RS is your mistress

Not sure what new Rs4 does but in my b7 I'm lucky to get 250 miles on a full tank on long journey! Having said that you don't buy an RS for economy... lol

I get 300 on a long journey, that's averaging 25 mpg and sitting at 80 on the motorway

Depending on my mood I'm between 220 and 280 in the B8 RS4. it's mostly rush hour driving, with a few spirited drives thrown in...

My bro with an S4 said he managed very similar economy when he had mine for a week...

I average 250-300 on my stage 3 hybrid 2.0t avant lol in town... Anything around 250 with a 4.2v8 is great. Currently in Miami and hired Mustang GT. 5.0 V8 that thing does 12mpg in town. Full tank gone in 196miles. 4 days already one tank gone ;)
