folks need a recommendation for a good auto-electrician - got an issue with battery losing charge so need some fault finding/diagnostic work etc.
Not your alternator is it? common fault(ish) on c6's... just check charge voltage with a multimeter should be 14v(ish usually a bit more) when running and ~12v when not.rtd wrote:folks need a recommendation for a good auto-electrician - got an issue with battery losing charge so need some fault finding/diagnostic work etc.

Most places sell them, stick in onto voltage check your resting voltage is around 11.5-12.5v anything in that will be fine (it'll be lower the longer the car has been stood but should go no lower than 11.5v really)rtd wrote:I don't have one Tom, but will seek one out thanks for the tip mate.TomRS wrote:Not your alternator is it? common fault(ish) on c6's... just check charge voltage with a multimeter should be 14v(ish usually a bit more) when running and ~12v when not.rtd wrote:folks need a recommendation for a good auto-electrician - got an issue with battery losing charge so need some fault finding/diagnostic work etc.
