RS4 drive train noise, any advise please?

Hi all, my recently purchased b7 rs4 produces a noise as you drive along which is much louder from the outside,( windows down)i wouldnt describe it as a gearbox whine its more of a whooshing sound for want of a better word, should these cars drive silently apart from the exhaust note or is this common, any advise would be most welcome

Are sure it isn't from the chains at the back of the engine? They make quite a whine as there's a lot of them...
