There seem to be plenty of rumours of a "new" RS4 next year with a 3-litre 500hp (or so) engine. Does anyone know anything concrete?
My son is wanting to replace his S4 Avant (B7) soonish and having heard there will be this RS4 is seriously interested and prepared to wait a few months.

I believe the A4 was formally launched this week but id be surprised if anyone on this forum knew for a fact or if they did was stupid enough to share it.

My Best guess? Let them settle for a year, they will sell like hotcakes anyway, then publicsie the Rs range next year and make it a MY 17 car for March 1st

Yep, but no mention of RS in that article. And it has never launched with the Main platform, it might but i doubt it will

New S4 due to be with us Summer 2016 so I reckon it'll be 2017 at least before we get the RS4

It's got to be true. Audi have already got a V6 R8 in the pipeline so we can probably expect the RS to share this engine.

Bloody emissions Nazis starving us of the V8. Though the tuning potential will be huge!
