RS4 or S4

Hi all I `m new to Audis having been a long time VW man owned every model of GTI until the build quality went
Found myself heading to what is probably known as the dark side from here....BMW`s
I have an E92 M3 at the moment and its a great car in the dry but living in Scotland that's not very often.
I don`t use the M3 as a daily driver its now only used on dry days or weekends days off etc.
I have now decided its got to go and a new or nearly new Audi is in my sights.
I fancy a RS4 but I have read that the engine in the B8 is fairly similar to the Bm you need to rev the nuts off it to get it to shift.
So I am also considering the S4 the supercharged engine appeals to me with it potential for tuneability.
Any advice as to how the S4 compares to the RS4?

If you are going new, get an RS 4, 15-20% discount at the moment

No. Factory support required in order to shift units.

20% off a £60K car is a nice little saving !!!
Going by my calculations I should be looking at paying no more than £50K.
Is that what most of the new owners or people who have recently ordered are paying ???

20% is at the upper end. Work on 15% and anything else as a bonus. It'll depend on dealer etc.
The current offer is due to end at year end. Will have to wait and see what the New year brings, likely to be a variation on a theme.

My car was fully loaded and I'm paying less than that albeit with a slightly bigger deposit.
I've dropped you a pm too as I'm sure Kings Lynn Audi will beat the deal you've been offered.

Thanks mate I am at the other end of the country to them, but if I can`t get a decent deal up here I`m more than happy to travel for the right deal.
Looking at deposits I have a fair whack in the M3 just now so would be very interesting to see what sort of deal I could get.
I will probably take it over three years with the intention of buying in the end.
