Having picked up some car park "rash" which requires respray on the two passenger doors and rear wing I am in the pain of dealing with Insurance companies and their whims of who gets to repair my car

I had intended to go to Fastlane in Guildford (www.fastlanepab.co.uk) as recommended by Rob at Audi Camberley, however the insurance company are being PITA and are painting me (no pun intended) into a corner, first offering a cash settlement if I went to Fastlane (which I was happy to do as With it only being a scrap, I am confident "no additional work" would be found, however when I accepted that they then rejecting Fastlanes quote as too expensive, requesting yet another Audi dealer Quote (and as I trust no other Audi Dealer bar Camberley I wont go to another for a 2nd quote), so are pretty much insisting on me using Autotechnics in Bray (http://www.autotechnics.com)

Wondering if any one has ever used them and have any feedback on their quality ?

BTW the insurance company is Chaucer, I only just changed to them on the recommendation of my brokers (who are at a loss as to their attitude and are doing a sterling job trying to get them to change attitude), would NOT recommend them based upon service so far

Thanks

Haven't used them myself but their website looks ok. They look pretty open and upfront about most things on there. There is plenty of detail on most things on there so I would not be led to believe they are a cowboy outfit. Depending on how local they are to you maybe it might be worth popping down there and chat to them to try and get a feel for what they are like face to face?
