While looking for a new set of fronts, seeing if there are any cheaper solutions than the £1400 I have been quoted by Audi I came across these.... But surely this can't be good... or right?
http://www.buypartsby.co.uk/details/AUD ... rake-disc/
Appreciate any thoughts and suggestions.

Isnt that diameter quoted incorrect?
A quick check on the Brembo website says that the dims quoted on that webpage match the B6 & B7 S4

The diameter and thickness are both wrong for a B7 RS4.

I thought so, my mate who works at a garage just said.... "If you can afford an RS4, you can afford to maintain an RS4, buy the proper parts and shut the fu*k up"
Which is both good advice and quite amusing.

Just got a set of fronts from Stoke Audi, 500 quid, cheapest I could find!

Just had a quick look out of curiosity and EuroCarParts lists the front discs as £491 plus vat each! Ouch!

Yes they are genuine Audi parts, got a full set of front and rears a couple of months ago.
There was a group buy earlier this year and they were cheaper than that.

Agree and disagree.
Yes, you have to keep on top of maintenance, but on the other hand you can do things to keep the costs sensible. Ordering tyres supply-only mail-delivery and getting a local tyre shop to fit them saved me a fortune. Whilst I let Audi do the AVS and BFS, I rang five dealers to get the price down and got a superb price. I bought my brake discs direct from Pagid via Eurocarparts who make the original discs for Audi...... and got TT Shop to fit them. I had a six jobs done at once at TT Shop and managed a little discount on the sixth job with a smile too.
It all helps!
