Does anyone know where i could get a piece of air line, say 2 meters long and fit an adaptor on each end so that i can connect the pressure tester upto a spare wheel and check for leaks? as i cant get to use a compressor that convieniently.
Bought a tester from UKS4APR1 last week and am very keen to try it out, by the way i am very impressed with the build quality top marks mate!

it was clear washer jet pipe i got, plenty strong enough for what we want to do, warm the end in some boiling water and it'll push straight on to the adapters then once it's cooled it'll be nice and tight.

it's all i have left in my sad little no-smoking world

i've fitted a non-return valve to mine also to make it easier to check for leaks, RS components, think it was this one 367-0624 but i can't remember and the garage is locked so check the o/d of the pipe.

Honestly you would think i was after spares for the space shuttle when i went to halfrauds at the weekend to source these few items, but once i left the missing link in the corner of the shop and looked round the store myself i did manage to find what i was after.
Got home and put pieces together and guess what! all is OK what a relief, but good to know that i can now check this as often as i like.

A tip for others, pump up drivers side front tyre to about 50 psi and connect to pressure tester for a quick check, but dont forget to reset tyre pressure when finished.

Cheers Shineydave
