I thought about doing the whole complaint thing, but thought I would probably get nowhere, and the last few comments have shown me that that would probably be the case! I must say, this is the first Audi I have ever had coming from a long line of BMW's, including four M power cars, and I found North Oxford BMW to be far more accommodating and customer service orientated in the many dealings I have had with them. But I still maintain that I HATE dealing with main dealers and would far rather have my car cared for by a specialist who knows the car inside out.

14 Daytona Grey RS6
13 Daytona Gey RS6 (Don't ask!)

Upon reflection its been 10 months since buying the car now so im not going to bother bringing the whole debacle up again; just accept it and move on.

C63’s are about at the mid twenties now so another couple of grand and it will be :bigwave: Audi

Edit.

Scrap that comment.

Letter sent due to condescending comments made by said dealer just last week that have irritated the hell out of me.

A simple admission of a mistake and an apology was all I wanted but the constant denial of any wrong doing is what has blown this up for me.

Oxford Audi in Kidlington........TERRIBLE!!!

Merc or BMW could be equally crap just as other Audi dealers can be good. It's not down to the brand...it's down to the bums in the seats.

Meh, complaint pinged straight to Audi CS who called to say that they cant do a great deal as its a used car.

Was told that the dealer principle at Taunton is no longer with them so no great loss there; she is checking out what work was done under a warranty claim for me though as I had concerns over renewal premiums.

I would agree with that but when you find yourself banging your head against a brick wall with everyone you talk too its difficult not too start to think its endemic.

Exactly, a guy with an N Reg Audi A8 on the A8 forum was kept waiting two days on a water pump from his Audi dealer, he was doing a cambelt change himself. He rang Audi customer services, just to rant, not expecting or wanting anything. A few days later, an apology card and a crate of posh wine turns up from Audi UK. I'm serious.

Actually, it wasn't the water pump, it was a £2 seal.

Try harder indeed.

Try harder?

What send him a bunch of flowers with the complaint attached?

Surely a group MD is even less likely to open his own post than read emails sent to him?

Audi Exeter are fantastic mate and not too far from Taunton, I had a similar experience as you with Audi in Cornwall with my S3 a few years back and left the Audi brand because of it. My neighbour raves about Exeter Audi so i thought I'd give Audi another try with the RS4 and have not looked back.

Thats good to hear thanks Adrian.

Its a bit of a trek down the M5 for me but I used to take my old 147 GTA down to Exeter for servicing so its no different; I was a little reluctant to take my car to the fairly new Bristol dealer as ive not heard great things about them either.
