I've got Admiral multi car too for the A6 3.0 Quattro Sport and the S8 - the S8 is insured with a Milltek with no extra premium, but haven't got any other mods to declare except what was factory fitted options.

Just testing their claims service at the moment after some pikeys decided to relieve the S8 of its mirrors outside my house last Saturday - apparently they weigh in for decent money as the housings are solid aluminium......shame about the £2500 damage done in the process of getting them off

RS4 Insurance Result - Thanks Admiral Multi-car

I have Admiral Multicar
and just about to renew so will be looking around. I know they won't cover Remaps but will cover Chips which seems daft to me.

I have a Milltek, decat and remap and they cover me on a multi-car policy.

For about £50 a year extra they will even cover the cost of replacing the mods like-for-like.

Long story short. On my renewal couldn't get Admiral to quote reasonable prices for either car by discussing it with them. Ended up moving wife's car to Sheila's wheels and the S4 in insured by Admiral but as a new customer through a quote on comparethemarket.com which was two hundred pounds cheaper. Saved over £400. It's just stupid.

My renewal with admiral was 57% higher than me getting a quote through their website.
Although I have no problems with admiral and my dealings with them have been exceptional ey couldn't provide a reason and matched the quote without fuss.

Admiral for me, £680 for a RS6 with me and the other half fully comp. And we are only 24 years old no wonder we went for a "6".... M3 was £1100......it was a no brainer. 

I am with admiral on a single car policy, I have enquired about mods on the car and they have told me unless it is an Audi approved mod they would not insure me.

A little word of caution...I've been reliably told that Admiral use pattern parts in the event of a claim and insist on using their own repairers... on specialist cars like Audi RS models i wouldn't really recommend Admiral at all... like most things in life you get what you pay for, unfortunately with insurance you often don't find out until it's too late?

I also used multicar and told them about the coilovers and the price didn't seem to vary too much due to that. Nearly time to renew so I will hunt around and force them for another good deal.
