I use quattro corner in Birmingham.

Great service from Pete Reeves. I think he does all Audi models, worth a call if nothing else.

I haven't tried VAGParts, but Eurocarparts seem to be pretty decent. Added bonus is that they have a place just up from work so I just go and pick stuff up if it will fit in my backpack on the bike

I don't think any are. I may be wrong, but here goes....

Front discs were form speedway with oem pads. Rears were oem. n/s rear wheel bearing was oem. Hoses are goodridge. Bushes replaced are powerflex.

I had a split cv boot when I owned your car. The 'german quality' boot kit I got from them was plastic, not rubber, I had to fit it for the mot, but then changed it for oem as soon as I could get one. From then on I only use oem where possible

Ah yes, I think you talked about that when we where discussing the car before I bought it.
TBH, the wingmirror I got from them seems decent enough, it all works but is not as good quality as the OEM one. I wouldn't expect it to as its around a tenth of the price that Audi wanted.

Dippy wrote:I agree with most of the above. VagParts are a good outfit, but their delivery times are not the quickest. They are also not always the cheapest, but I usually find that they are honest - if they think you'd get a better deal through a stealer then they tell you so.

I have never had a wrong delivery from VagParts.

Can only echo with what has been said by Dippy.
Me too. The bit about stealer price is very true. They have always been very honest.
In addition their knowledge far exceeds any main stealer I have used over the past 11 years of S/RS ownership.
