Try Docklands Audi - they have done several quotes for this type of repair...should be around 3500 +vat for new manifolds including turbos. (think about 2k for manifolds only). Both are engine out jobs, hence price tag...but a lot less than what you've been quoted. I have had this problem myself but decided to have a K04 Turbo upgrade done instead and chose QST for the work as my car is out of warranty.
