Insurance issue (hit by 3rd party)

Chassis is bent, the rear near side back door no longer sits flush (impact was offside) so I don't think it will be going back on the road

Still arguing value, they offered £6400 to find a replacement.

I'm sorry but who ever has told you the chassis is bent is talking utter bo**ox. There is no way in the earth that it is . Yeah it probably wants a quarter due to the fact it's peeled away from the inner arch . The reason the door doesn't fit would be accredited to the fact it's pulled the quarter panel backwards.

Didn't see that you mentioned the N/S/R. However still can't see how such a light impact could cause damage to the other side . I've seen them hit much much much harder and the damage didn't trave, I'd expect to see damage on the roof and under the rear seats ect .

I don't think it was the initial impact, I don't think that caused much damage at all. as the lorry reversed away it picked up both under the arch and wheel, lifting the off side off the ground and pushing the back end of the car sideways across the road 6-8". The wheel alignment went from spot on, to both rears pointing the same way by enough to need you to steer into the kerb by 20 degrees on the steering wheel to keep it in a straight line.

The near side rear door is flush at the top and the lower trailing edge is about 2-3mm proud of the shut line. Oddly the off side f or where the damage is fits much better!
