I will rspj, there's over 40 in the network.

So a little update - after sharing my experience on their Group's social media page late yesterday afternoon, I had a phone call from the sales manager at about 5-ish last night..... It was triggered by my fb comments, and was not what I would consider a genuine follow-up from leaving my card. Call it lip service, if you will.

Needless to say, I was eventually offered a laughable £500 less than WBAC's values (so bottom trade without lube) against a top retail priced RS4 at £47,950. After taking the piss back and suggesting my car and £25k to swap, theirs was shaved to £47,150 (which WBAC lists at £42,400k). I couldn't price it using Audi's website as I think its had a plate change. These dealers must think we know Jack Schitt. Onwards and upwards.

As Bricktop would say, "as greedy, as a pig"

Invisible man at Stafford Audi

I've had the same at Porsche Hatfield. It's not limited to Audi.

Walk in and pretty much say "I want a gts. Get me a test drive in one please. Yes, that's my RS4 outside. No I'm not trading it in, it's in addition."

3 months go by and nothing.

Two weeks ago I see a gts parked outside Hatfield showroom (it's completely by chance - Hatfield is 40 miles from where I live). I swings in again.

Speak to the girl on reception. This time I basically say "I'm not going to give you a third chance to take my money - if no one takes me seriously i'll walk".
5 minutes later senior sales guy approaches me. We chat some, and now the order book is closed on caymans. Can't order one. New one out at some point later in the year, no dates yet blah blah.

Brilliant Porsche absolutely brilliant. Royally buggered that up didn't you.
Believe only the man who has nothing to gain from what he says.

To be fair you wouldn't have been able to order a new Cayman three months ago.

Not all dealers are great, but the standard Porsche fair is a lot better than the standard Audi fair.
