I was told about another job that should be carried out at the same time as replacing the oil strainer and can't for the life of me remember what it was.
Anyway, I've just received the recall letter for the strainer and wondered if anyone knows what else should be looked at while doing this job so I can see if Audi will do the other work while in there. (Hopefully saving some of the labour costs)
Thanks all in advance
Other jobs to do when replacing the turbo oil strainer on C7 RS6
Re: Other jobs to do when replacing the turbo oil strainer on C7 RS6
My PCV valve failed on my RS 7 recently and as it is major top end surgery, whilst the car was apart I got the dealer to change the oil strainer too. I believe the valve and gaskets were about 200 quid but the labour was 10 hours in all. Maybe worth considering whilst they have it apart. The same surgery makes it easier to get the spark plugs too if you are due a change.
