RS4 2013 wheel arch body corrosion

Dear rs4 2012/2013 owners,

Do you have this issue? Both rear wheel arch affected. Front are fine. Only done 20k miles. Local Audi is sending a bodywork company rep to my home to take pictures tomorrow which would then be costed and sent to Audi HQ for investigation/review. I was told that Audi hq will need to decide if it can be covered under warranty.

I got the car at 15k miles and did not notice anything until recently when waxing. I don't drive off road. Just typical a and B roads in the UK.

Is this a tyre issue? Or just poor design for this part. Appreciate if you could check your rs4 too. I am puzzled and disappointed. Any suggestions?

+1. Without looking at a picture of a B8, isn't that plastic so unlikely to corrode?

It is a b8. I assumed metal as it had rust colour for one arch.
Is there an option to have some sort of small hard wearing guards similar to the ones in the front?

Audi has agreed to fix it all under warrantee.
There are no audi mudflaps for S and RS4 models.

Could i use some sort of slim rubber seal? any ideas?

That's a plastic bumper so not corrosion as stated previously.Just from stone chips.
You can buy clear protective film like this,just trim to suit but you will have to make sure the bumpers are dirt free first.Or just get a bodyshop to do it:
