as its a more common problem than I realised. I've had my C5 RS6 for a couple of years and its always had bubbling near the roof rails which hasn't got any worse, could be due to keeping it under cover. I maybe wrongly assumed that as the car is now 10 years old it'd be up to me to bear the brunt of rectifying it.
I'm not one to play the system or try and milk it but as I'm the third owner and the roof has never been resprayed and all but one service stamp is Audi do you think its still covered by their paint/corrosoon warranty?
Can anyone give me advice before I waste anymore time in getting it sorted?
Thanks in advance!
in Australia the corrosion warranty is 12 years
check your owners manual
I was lucky enough to have audi contribute half to repair the roof on my B5 after 12 years & 6 months
talk to your favourite dealer
comes down to relationships and how you go about it
