RS4 Avant tow package?

Hi all - about to lay down the dep for a 13' avant RS in Aus, everyone is telling me tow kits not avail (different rear config to an A4) though hate for this to be the deal breaker... Need a tow kit, has it and who has or knows of it? (Aftermarket) also will be wrapping it silver, will be looking for some body kits too.. Tips and tricks, links...would be good too. Much appreciate!

I pulled the pic off Instagram, hoping to inspire belief that a tow kit is possible.. (Or well photoshopped)

Hi
The pic appears to be of an A6, not an RS4
As far as I understand, Audi don't approve the B8 (2013) RS4 for towing. This was the same for the previous model
That's not to say you can't fit a tow bar, as I'm sure there's plenty of kits that fit (there was for the B7), but Audi will void any warranty

It's also I believe an offence to tow with the rs4
- there is no type approved tow bar kit.
- the manufacturers published tow limits for both braked and unbraked trailers is zero.

Haha caravan ! No its to tow my karting trailer and a wish to tow my R35 track car... Bought the B8 anyway, and 2 tone black / brush steel wrapped it. Its mint!

Audi claim the issue is to do with cooling and the increased load on the car. However, I met a guy with a B7 who towed a trailer with a track motorbike succesfully for years with no issues... not to say it's legal though if type approval effects that side of things

Insurance is the killer. If some <beep> hits your car when you are towing you could be in a world of pain.

Just wrapped the beast in a brushed aluminum silver, original black pillars and carbon roof, blacked out tail lights and audi rings... still no tow kit

Nah - it's likely to be type approval costs which for such a limited production car is simply not worthwhile
