RS6 C5 Leaking rear washer! Nothing new...

Hi,

Sure alot of you have had this problem and there are a fair number of posts about it but can you just tell me:

a) Is it worth buying a repair kit with the spindle and seal etc

b) replacing the entire motor for about £30 more.

I'm going to do the job either way and I know there was a post with pics on how to do it on here I think so if you have the link for that it'd be great....

Opted for a new motor not OEM and half the price so as I know how to change it next time it will be easier. Incidentally it was the same cost as the repair kit so I perhaps I'll cannibalise it if it does fail. Only problem is my wiper is know starting from the right and sweeping left, no big problem but obviously its different from everybody elses.

Footlongs rear wiper rests on the right.
I did the write up on doing the leaking washer pipe, search my posts about a year ago mate.

Found it very informative, I'll give anything a go but not electrics..
