Audi Sevice Centres

Hallo All
I am about to take delivery of my new ( used - 2001 ) RS4.
I will need to update the warranty and find the best place in or near West
London to service the car.
Does anybody have any recommendations in this area ?
I would be very grateful .

I don't mind driving further if no-one thinks my local dealers are up to much.
Any suggestions ?

well it looks as though no one is going to repy to my question , so
I might as well reply myself.
(someone on the forum )" Why don't you try Audi West London ? "
(me) " ok , if you think they are good "
(someone on the forum ) " It's worth a try "
so I have called Audi West and booked in for an inspection and
a warranty upgrade.
I will keep you posted.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier. I've used Dovercourt Battersea before, and I know they've done work on other members cars before, so I guess you could say they are RS savvy.

My car is in Victoria Audi today for its service plus a couple of sundries. I'm using them this time as they have better opening hours than Dovercourt, so I'll let you know how they fare. Let me know how West London coped and how much they charged etc. would be nice to have a comparison.

thank you for the info Steve.
I have just picked up my car from West London Audi
The total bill for extended warranty and new wiper blades
was £950 , this includes the £200 inspection. Expensive but
necessary I think.
There were a few RS6s there , and they seemed happy looking after the RS4
other than that I have no other basis to judge how good they are.
Though do watch the speed bumps as you go into the garage , too high I think.
Didn't Dovercourt used to be in St Johns Wood ?

Be careful with Victoria Audi, their sales dept stiched me up with the warranty on a second hand S4 a few years ago. Put it down as a 1.8 Avant on the forms. I had real trouble getting warranty claims agreed with Audi UK

I think Dovercourt are still in St Johns Wood. Dovercourt also owned Battersea Audi, which has been rebranded as Dovercourt Battersea. This was done at the same time as they lost their sales franchise, but they are still an official Audi service and repair centre.

I assume your experience was when Victoria Audi were still Scotts Audi? In which case I too suffered at their hands a few times and was very amused when they went bust / lost their franchise. The service department staff all defected to Deutsche Marques, an independent which some of the senior Scotts guys set up in West Kensington. I did swear I'd never use them again after my bad experiences, but they do open at 7.30 and are close to my work, so I can drop off my motor and be in work for 7.45 (only 45 minutes late!). Plus of course the staff have changed, so they can only get better, right

I'm picking it up today, but so far they seem to have been OK - kept me updated by phone, diagnosed and fixed the faults etc. £410 for full AVS, £85 for brake fluid change, £20 for new wiper blades. Typical London dealer prices I guess, I'll reserve full judgement until I've given the motor the once over.

Yes, Steve, I also heard that they lost thier franchise.
