Planning for all Eventualities - Breakdown Cover

Post by Cobstar » Tue Feb 18, 2003 1:02 pm

Sorry more questions. And doubtless there will be lots more when I actually pick up the car.

I have breakdown cover with Britannia Rescue for my current car. But they take the car to their nearest approved agent. Would I do better to look for breakdown cover from another organisation - and if so any suggestions?

The best value package I have found is from Autohome. We retail this as £59.99 and it covers:

Roadside Assistance
Recovery back to home or the end of your journey (your choice)
Home start
And European cover (you need to ring them and give at least seven days notice)

But if you use these boards you can have it for a straight £50.
