How do I choose a good VA CAN SCANNER diagnostic tool

Recently, my car engine fault indicator lights, the sound is not quite right.So I urgently need a
VAG diagnostic tool. I found online there are hundreds of such tools, I do not know how to choose it.Can you give me some advice?Thanks!

Get VCDS. This is a VAG diagnostics tool, it can also code your car.

They are £250 and can be bought from ross tech.
