Advice on buying S4

Hi Guys and Gals,

I am looking to buy an S4, I have got around £6000 which I know isnt alot, but its all I can afford right now. What do you think I will get for my money and where is the best place to look?

I have seen a couple of B6's advertised with 60-80k on the clock for less than £6k, but cant help thinking they look too cheap!!!

Am I as well to look for the 4.2 v8 or the 2.7 bi-turbo and what pros and cons of each?

Hi and welcome along for a start Both great cars but really you need to decide whether you want the V8 rumble or the torque rich turbo V6 , the V6 is much more tuneable for sure and available for a lot less than £6000 for a really good one but I think with your budget I would go for a V8 as they are just so cheap now and stick a Milltek on it and you will never look back
