RS6 startup problems

Hi all,

I've got a bit of a problem with my 2010 RS6. Picked it up in December - during the test drive the same problem occurred and the dealer said it would be investigated before delivery... looks like it wasn't investigated well enough!

So if I have left the car on but no engine running for say 10 seconds, when I try to start the engine sometimes the car starts and revs keep rising to 4-5k rpm until I touch the throttle, after which it drops back to normal idling revs. Also once today (when trying to make a video of the problem) after the car had started the engine turned off after a few seconds - not sure if this is related.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

The dealer said he will organise a fix, but I've heard that one before already...
