All done today but with a full morning taken up by waiting..... not impressed but somehow expected it..... they found that the blubs had come loose and caused them to not work so that was a simple job.... i also had the MAF repleced due to a very intermittant loss of boost......... which was nice of the technician

I explained that i probably wouldnt be able to replicate the fault in a test run with him as a passenger and explain what the fault was and what i thought might be causing the problem... so far it seems to have done the trick... i already ruled out the DV.

Well where do I start .... I WOULD NEVER HAVE ANOTHER BMW AGAIN!

Incident 1:

My Brand new M3 Cab back to the dealership to have a hardtop fitted went back to collect it and it had the mother of all creases down the rear wing. Wasn't us said the dealer was there when we started. Bollocks I said (car had only done 37 miles and hadn't seen a carpark in its life!!!) I had a helluva battle to get them to fix it interestingly enough the crease wase in the perfect shape of a large spanner/wrench so i reckon that the technician had lent/fallen on the car while placing on the hardtop.

Incident 2:
After Incident 1 I changed dealers and bought a 530d Sport for myself and a 320d for my wife (good sale for them imho) The 530d got booked in for a week after collection to have the bluetooth car kit fitted/setup and the dealership offered to pick up/drop off the car to do the job.... great I thought..... you can imagine the look on my face when I came home to find my new car had been driven over a foot high wall and parked ontop of a rockery in my garden. WTF could the guy not stop the thing - had he never drivenan auto? He never even reported it to the dealership or even moved the car. Must have thought I wouldn't notice!!! I totally agree with you KCsun. I had a AMG merc and the amount of bother I had with the dealers with it has put me off for life. Simple things like there had never heard of my model before! They put too much oil in it! They put the bulbs in the rear lights the wrong way! The list goes on and on and on and on and on!! Merc u r pants!
My Audi dealer at newcastle is very helpfull and actually know there audi's. When I bought the S3 the salesman even gave me the numbers of companies to get it chipped.
6 months on and he said he will give me 1 grand more for me S3 cos of the AMD remap that's not bad if you ask me.
Or and by the way the new secretary is very very sexy!!

"and by the way the new secretary is very very sexy!!"

So instead of going to Mill Audi Sunderland, you reckon I should got to the Toon for my wiper blade change and coffee ...... I get the usual comments from the service guys like "what the feck is that thing? / who is Pagid, are they from the North East?/ oh yeh you can get that carbon stuff from Halfords / Sportec? Out to do with Brendan Foster and the Great North Run? / Cant get her on the ramp she's too low / Where's the MAF gone? / She seems to be running 1.5Bar boost and I haven't blipped the throttle yet "

And the funniest so far ...... " Are you coming to the match this afternoon?" ........ thought that was hilarious

How strange, I all of a sudden need my wiper blades changing too. Which dealer do you recommend Bass, Newcastle or Silverlink?

No Ive been told that Listers Audi at Worchester are the gurus for wiper blade changeout. It should take you long to get down there as you have the fastest Audi ever.(apart from many others).

I got a lot of [censored] from Mill at sunderland when I ran an RS4. They said It was only the second one they had seen so Im asuming yours is the other.
eg. We cannot change your front brake disc's as there of the rotation kind!!!!
Er yes and?
But we will test drive it for you sir!
Whilst several YTS mechanics sorry technicans fight to get the keys first.
Newcastle audi I found a lot better but not perfect by no means(who are).
At the end of the day all they want is your hard earned wonger in ther back bins. As does all the others.
Bass.
