ESP Engineering footwell plates

Post by espengineering » Thu Feb 21, 2008 11:04 am

Can i ask a question about the possibility of making Stainless Steel plates for footwells as im not 100% sure what people are after, is it a hard fitted one to the footwell? or litterellay just a moveable metal plate? if some one fancies making a quick sketch and sending it over to my email i would be most grateful!

Are you talking about a SS "heel pad"? If that is the case, then personally I prefer the carpets.

Obviously others may have different preferences....

Not Specifically, people were asking me if it was possible to make a metal plate to go under the pedels as they were finding they had gone through the floor mat easily! Im just asking for more of an idea as i am not 100% sure what people are after

I think DavidT wanted you to post in the Audi S and RS Ownership section, not a topic of that title in the Classifieds section.

Its where the carpet meets the footrest. Mine is worn through & I wanted a plate to cover / protect it.

Can anyone post a pic of this, I can't until tonight.

Thanks for the help! Im blonde sorry! Would you want the plate to be the part that you rest your foot on or would you rather have the plate hidden under a floor mat?
