The warranty for my S4 has expired and I have been offered a renewal - here's the deal ;
£244 to renew with a £25 excess, covers turbos, 4x4, air-con, and most of the usual bits (except the ECU ?). There is a £1k limit per claim, which isn't going to foot the bill if the turbos go. The company is Olympic warranties.
What to do ?
Warranty cover - is it worth it ?

Get them to increase the claim limited.....?
£1000 is still a lot off the price of 2 new turbos ...

Re: Warranty cover - is it worth it ?
I had the same renewal sent the other day.
I have no reason to doubt that Olympic are a good warranty company (I never claimed while I had the policy) however I decided to go with the Audi warranty instead.
I couldn't really see the point in a warranty with max claim limit of a grand on a car where most major part (never mind Labour) cost far in excess of this.
For £200 odd quid it'd be a nice warranty on a £8k mondeo or similar, but for an S4 I just don't think the limit is high enough.
That said, the Audi warranty at £765 is far more expensive (and I would imagine tricky to get on a modded car)
