Paint colour

Post by MarkB » Mon Oct 02, 2006 1:59 pm

Hi

Whats the paint colour called as on my B5 S4? It's the light silver colour as on DavidT's and others.

Name and paint code would be good. Thanks
Mark

Avus. But you need to get the actual paint code for your car, which is stuck inside the spare wheel well (it is on mine anyway).

I thought Avus was the darker Silver. If its in the wheel well I'll go have a look. I wasn't sure which of the codes it would be in the book and a name is useful for when down Halfrauds

You're right guys, my mistake. PhilT's is Avus Silver, Mark's is (whatever) silver, and David's is MUD

Check the colour code in the boot to be sure. I think I'd be inclined to go to Audi rather than Halfords for something like this...?

Just for patch up paint when I 'cut the bars on my front bumper' I will get it all sprayed nice next summer. Need to get a few other bit sorted as well.

couldn't find a noggy blue touch up in halfrauds, i went to the stealer. bit pricey but you get a pot of laquer too. i thought all the S model paint colours where named after racetracks
