Thanks guys, and Swanny for the offer of the hoses. I should be ok though, how much were the Wagner hoses? There is a supercar specialist that has a unit about a mile from me, he had an RS6 in recently and currently has an LP640 sat in his workshop, he's also had an RS2 and B5 RS4 from new and seems to know his stuff so he said he'll have a look for me. But work commitments mean I can get to him until Wed. Is it a big no on driving the car to work on Mon/Tues? Each journey 18 mile, I can do it under 3k rpm ..?

Guys, It looks like if I take the drivers side wheel off and the front arch liner I should be able to gain access without taking the bumper/undertray off. What do you guys reckon? I don't want to go to all that effort to realise I can't get access.

Thanks RS6+. If a hose has split or something I'll get that, if not, will stick to OEM.

If you take the undertray off, you will see the bottom hoses. 100%. I've been under my car and when the undertray is off, you have an access to them. You should even be able to change them without removing the bumper. Just lift the front (both sides) if you can't get the whole can in the air, take the undertray off and you'll be able to see them. Just make sure the car is secured and won't move while you are under...

Driving under 3000rpm should be okay, but I hope Grizz/Dough would share some info with us on this subject.

Good luck!

If I hadn't had such a manic weekend I'd have come down and done your cooler pipe for you amar. You should have picked a better weekend to have it pop off. Just keep the rpm low if you really need to use it, easy to do in this car .

Don't drive it with a boost leak. You will be running horribly rich and poisoning your cats. Just get it on 2 axle stands and have at it. It'll take you no more than an hour.

Hehe. Good point. Still, rich running is better avoided.

I still wouldn't drive it purely to save the turbos

Thanks guys and Dunc that would have been very kind. I've put the car away and won't be taking it to work tomorrow. I'm going to fix it tomorrow night after work on axel stands. Mate will grab me some clips from work, asked what size and type I need? Can someone let me know please?

I have just been out to the garage in my underpants with my Surefire pro to measure my old intercoolers for you Amar. I hope you appreciate the effort. ;)

The diameter of the IC pipe is 70mm. Assume the hose is 5mm wall thickness, that's a total diameter of 80mm. Circumference of about 240mm therefore. So you need ones that'll do 220 to 260mm approx. I'm sure your mate will work out which ones are most appropriate.
