Possible Issue - New Logs Added - Update 25/3/12

Recently i've noticed the car feel a bit flat after the intital torque surge.
Vagcom doesnt come up with any codes, last time i check about a week ago, other than an ittimitant short to ground on the engine fan, which is a bit odd, as it was supposedly replaced underwarrenty just under a year ago.
what to check for, could be fuel, as a few times i've used normal 95 rather than optimax or ultimate. (so possible ignition <beep> because of this?)
boost leaks?
could be that im used to it, but it just doesnt feel that strong after the initial surge, seem like the turbo's run out of puff.

Could be a bad MAF or N75 or DVs. I consider those preventive maintenance on the RS6.
Could be a vacuum leak. That's do it.
Or could be leaky intercoolers. That'll sap your power.

It's a false economy anyway. Car will do better mpg on 98.

I've never put 95 in the RS6, Total premium is the worst it's got, and that was an emergency £20 as I didn't have time to go to Shell. I buy so much V Bastard Shell sent me a V Bastard card., currently spending £500 a month on V Bastard.

Where did you get you N75 and DV's from, might change mine while I'm at it?

Audi. But you can get them at TPS, grizz, virdee. They are not expensive items.

Nah. As long as they are working. They are just the things that I would change if I didn't know when they were last done or had a doubt about the power.

I got Grizz to check mine and he said all is good, so I'll leave them then. Coilpacks worth taking, not a big issue on these are they? Although I know Amanda had one go. I'm going to rely on my low mileage and European breakdown cover. I am praying my alternator goes on the weekend so I can get that out of the way, rather then on the tunnel!

Don't worry about it, then. Don't hear about coilpacks going too much on the RS6. Can happen, but then so can a lot of stuff.

My coil packs all started to fail at about 130K miles (8 years). I had three go in the course of a month, so then had all the rest changed at one go.

Misfiring, especially at idle, plus
Vagcom courtesy of my mate. Even told him which pack each time!
