Not sure about the suspension arms - think they marke the arb's but not sure if they are the OEM arms - sure shopinnit will know.

Finally if your still after some 18's (other post) footlong has them on his and is just about to get some 19's so worth giving him a shout

Good brand. I am pretty sure they supply Audi OEM, but I don't know whether they supplied the RS6 ones specifically.

Thanks Marv. Daveperc has first dibs on these if he is still interested (well, the rims). They are due off the car on Thursday.

I would be tempted to keep them as winter wheels but then you can't have the c6 brake set up - may work with your new wheels without potential vibration? Going to try mine with 6mm spacers on OEM wheels and see how I get on - otherwise there is a clever bloke with a plan b... :thumbs:

Nah, never been one for changing tyres/wheels during colder weather. I am happy sliding around and scrabbling for grip if it ever comes to that as it keeps my skills up ;). After a long time on LingLongs back in the day, I can drive on anything. Yep, am waiting for final results on 'Plan B' with interest ;)

Did the OP edit most of the stuff out of his original post? Because people seem to be answering questions he hasn't asked?

I know we like to go off topic, but not in a useful way, generally.

I fitted this make to mine. In fact if you check out my previous threads you will see and step by step walkthrough out to fit. Very easy, although you do have to drop the engine mount bolts to get one of the long arm bolts out.

Ok heres that walk-through for changing the front lower suspension arm;

Tools required;

Car Jack
Axle Stand
18mm Socket & Rachet
18mm Long Spanner

1. Loosen road wheel nuts
2. Jack up car and place axel stand beneath
3. Remove road wheel
4. Slacken 18mm bolt on the underside of the suspension arm at the wheel hub and pop the arm out of the hub appature.
5. Slacken and remove 18mm bolt that runs through the middle of the suspension arm which holds the shock absorber in place.
6. Slacken and remove the 18mm bolts that hold the C shaped anti-roll bar mount in place. Remove the c mount.
7. Place the car jack under the front corner of the subframe and jack up slowly until it supports the weight.
8. Remove the 18mm subframe bolt.
9. Slacken the 18mm bolt that holds the suspension arm into the subframe. This bolt is extremely long therefore you need to SLOWLY drop the front subframe down using the car jack until it gives sufficient clearance to remove the bolt.
10. Remove the old suspension arm and fit the new one in reverse.
11. Job done!

Yes, Lemforder supply the OEM arms to Audi. Also consider Meyle HD arms which are better, cheaper, and designed to be 'Heavy duty' with larger balls joints than standard so that they are more resiliant to wear. Basically they take an OEM arm and redesign it to be better than OEM. Best place to get them is ebay.de. I think I paid £300 for a full set of front arms.

Mart.
