Anyone owned a D3 S8 and a C5 RS 6?

I'd love to know your thoughts on the two if so.

Craigyb went from C5 RS6 Avant (non plus) to D3 A8 W12 SWB to D3 S8 V10. He's not on the forums as much as he used to be, last time I saw him at our Tyresmoke MK Meet was the pre-planned occasion he swapped my Nav.

I've had a D3 S8 for a year and a half now.Before that I owned an 03 RS6 for nearly 3 years.
If you can live without the torque of the 6 then the S8 is a better car in almost every way.As standard It's better equipped,more comfortable,very nearly as fast (up to about 70 -80 ) and handles better.
It's cheaper to service and has a great V10 at its heart.It's more grown up and subtle,quieter on the move - thanks to the d/glazing - and has a much more modern interior than the 6.
Adjustable suspension,a gazillion toys and I think better looking than the 6.It does use more fuel though..put winters on mine last year and took it on the Cat and Fiddle when the road
was shut for two weeks because of the snow, I reckon it was better there than the six as well.When I next change it will probably be to another S8 - they're brilliant cars.

Thanks Goldbum, exactly what I was after. Still enjoying the '6 but I will go D3 S8.
