Prompted by Steve's thread, I thought I'd say hi. I've been reading this forum for a few weeks now since I bought my C5 RS6 in October. There's a wealth of information here which has been very useful.
So far my RS6 ownership experience has been very positive. They really are incredible cars. I bought mine on a whim after driving my business partner's Mugello Blue Avant and being amazed at how quickly an estate car (complete with dog guard) could go from 60 to 120. I just had to have one of my own. So here she is:
It really is the perfect all round car aside from the fuel economy and *cough* reliability issues. Luckily I've got a nice, boring, A6 2.0 TDI (C6) to deal with that.
Currently she's with the good folks at MRC getting the full treatment. Various remedial bits, Bilstein PSS9s to replace the DRC which is leaking, intercooler refurb, Milltek non-res and remap. Wow I sound like an RS veteran already
. They've had it nearly a week and I'm starting to get serious withdrawal symptoms.Hopefully I'll be posting a lot here and not just with tales of woe!
