That price above seems to be only slight more expensive than a used one. I think I'd be buying new in that case!

Sorry mate, I'm an adult, where were you drinking, the student union?! I haven't seen sub-£3 pints since '99 - '00, I remember it clearly because drinking in threes became very favourable, whomever bought the round always had a fresh coin for the pot when she next came around. Ah, magical times, we rued the day they hiked the pint prices with some obscure tax to £3.07. It's been downhill ever since. Not all bad, some girls even take PayPal...
