If so, it must be at about 60k miles.

Rule 42
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper
"The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at and repair."

Thanks Dunc. Yup! Judging by the condition (and date stamp), it was the 16yr old factory original.

Didn't quite follow rule 42 - got an extra 22k miles out of it (aka bonus 10 years of use!) Think it was lack of rotation over winter/lockdown that tipped it over the edge.

Gave the 6 a quick maintenance wash, using all the detailing gear I'd acquired over lockdown.
Came out pretty good, IMO.

Cheers Jay. Overdue a proper enhancement detail, but new discs/pads all 'round first! :audibash:

Lovely to see a well looked after car.
