Gripper (sorry for using your thread Nick) just buy a 2nd set of black a6 roof bars and re-spray them.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

I got a quote for the S4 recently - £150 to do the window surrounds, which I didn't think was too bad, given the going rate.
I'll need to revisit the same place with the RS6 and get a quote for the window surrounds and front sections (incl. surrounds to the grills & headlights).

First wash this year (and only time for a morning quickie) but she still seems to come up quite nice.ImageImageImage

It's a nice motor is Mr Chatterbox's. Not seen an avant in the same colour, wonder if there's one out there?

Still not seen/heard of any others in this colour (either avant or saloon), after all these years.
Subsequently feel an obligation to keep it largely standard and give it plenty of TLC, as it seems to be a one-off.

Not that you can tell from this pic (as it's a bit dirty at the moment), but the front end was getting a bit of a tidy up today, with some more little details to follow over the coming weeks...

That needs a proper t-cut that R8. He been parking under trees or what?
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

Lol. Currently has a satin black wrap, but it's a WIP project car so other options were being explored...

Took it for it's first tunnel run yesterday. Tried to time it thinking it'd be clear (with everyone otherwise engaged) but roads were still pretty busy. :boohoo:

Hasn't everyone? Image
Yeah, earlier this year (although it's spent much more time in the workshop than on my drive!).
Probably should start it's own thread, especially as it's going to be a WIP for quite a while yet.

Thought the 'no food/drink' in the car rule had been broken, but looks like the rear view mirror has dumped it's LCD fluid, so needs replacing.Image
