Conty Contact 2s - 265/35ZR19
Will these slide over OEMs? Let's not talk about the knobbly bit, please...
If not, they'll probably get over my HRE's 9.5x19s, right?

I've got C6 brakes on the front and 275/30/19s currently shod on aftermarket 9.5x19s ET35.
I think I'll give these 265/35/19s a shot on the OEMs. I don't think the Contis will be a patch on the GY F1 asyms but it'll give me time to track down some winter rubber and get my rims recon'd.

Yup, they'll fit. You change the gearing by about 1% wrt 255 so your speedo will under read by that amount.
They'll physically fit your HREs. What tyres are you running on them?
Do you really want to put contis on your car?

If you put them on your HRE then your diameter will increase by about 3% and your speedo will under read accordingly. Good for Vmax though

Nup. Still engine and gearboxless - 6 weeks and counting. WD have fucked everything up royally, I'm talkin' 1st class <beep> ups and worldclass bullshit.
Should have a go ahead next week (Monday), then maybe another 10-14 days work. Painful.

I lost mine for 6 weeks but I pick it up Monday

Are WD paying up or trying very hard to get out of it? I tried to get a WD warranty last year but they messed me about so much from the off I got my money back and started a slush fund. I do have an AA warranty but it is limited to £500, they coughed straight up so that helped a little

I'll get around to posting after Monday, I should have a full answer from WD by then. It might not be all bad in the end but thus far, it's been once of my worst experiences in the car game...

Computer says no. This claim is still with the MD of WD. I'm far too angry to post about this at the moment.
