Black Plus. Now what?

Hi guys
I have found one and put down a deposit and shes currently in for a major service plugs etc and full check over health check with a reputable dealer locally to it. Iam sorting the paper work but sounds and looks like a nice example and shes had the cam belt and is on second generation DRC under warranty. Ive looked at quite a few ( though not all Plus's) and it was a real eye opener to whats out there at the mo.
Its completely stock at present and I love the car as it is but looking ahead I want to compliment it slowly with some mods I think...perhaps subtly at first or maybe not I am unsure. Any suggestions from the floor as to what if any?? I was thinking about the exaust at first and wondered how other owners found the Plus's exaust against for example a black tipped non res miltek? I know its a thread well discussed but as a matter of an update is it really worth the extra £1k to replaced a a standard Plus zorst? I can def tell the difference on a standard 6 exaust however is it that much? I need to get an ipod connect... craigb ( I think) was the man years back I think any updates on whos in the chair nowadays?
Secondly I know only 100 came into the UK at first with 999 globally. Is there way to determine how many are still here and didnt end up in the barrier at the ring etc

?? Exclusivity of all these RS cars is so good to know!
Any additional input for a new owner welcome above that already mention in other recent threads with cfdoc.
Any way ive been on this forum for a number of years with my previous RS's and its a god send when you need advice etc as well as banter! My hat off to you guys with the knowledge. So looking forward to more input as my ownership and bank balance takes a different shape. Will try and post some pics when shes officially mine. The natural leather thing really threw me BTW

Craigyb is still the man, known him personally about seven years now, upgraded my S4 before its first trip to Le Mans in June.

Thanks is he still on here? do you have contact details etc for him? I know its a simple job .. I think but I wondered if you can have now an all singing tap dacing Ipod connection so it comes up on the monitor etc? Or an I asking to much from Audis crap Audio kit. ?

yeah he listed it here and on Piston heads. Not a huge amount of info intially but the plot thickened and got better as we went on! Really looking forward to speading the 6 love notes through my sleepy little village!

Theres a couple of tree huggers in residence which I might park up outside of and share my CO2 with.

Is that wrong??? Dont get me wrong (before I get hate mail) Im all for a bit of hugging but we car owners are just an easy target !

Absolutely Fu*k all wrong with that....I'd be amazed if you get any hate mail...more likley messages of encouragement

Yeah i was hoping on a few freebie pints in the pub and a possible request to be cricket capt but will have to wait and see!!

I was always asked for a lift to away games when I had my 4 as they loved the noise!! Maybe we should start a revolution!!
Now then what about this exaust and things... any ideas boys? Im also think Ill need to get a good detail at some point... winter protection an all that?

Interesting you say that re tree huggers etc...we were visiting my mother at the weekend and when we left one of her neighbours came out and complained as I had started the engine and then decided to clean the windscreen. "Was it really necessary to have the engine ticking over" he asked. I looked at him blankly and asked him what on earth was the matter and he said it was very noisy! You should have seen my grin!!! I'm not sure he will have taken kindly to the way I drove off down the street!

Plus exhaust better than standard 6 but miltek is the only way, you can of course match the black optics with black tips.
Someone on here about 2 years ago was collecting a database of known plus's, not sure if he's still around.
I understand that there were around 70 plus's in the uk, so maybe 50 or so left.
I also understand that there were only 500 ish made before they went out of production.

Blimey !!:() that really a small number of cars. I know there were only 500 B5 rs 4's bought in back on 00 so there cant be many of them left now. Would that make it one of the most exclusive Audi imports perhaps?? Best give her plenty of wax to keep her keen then!

Only 450 odd plusses were sold in the end, so they are even more exclusive than you think.
