After owning my Daytona Plus for a year, I'm considering a change, but need to know what my Plus is worth. Would be interested in opinions on the trade and retail value of my car:
Dec 2004/54 RS6+ in Daytona grey
- 1 previous owner
- 28k miles
- FSH, mixture of Audi & MRC
- Miltek resonated (not boomy) system
- Miltek catless downpipes
- Stage 2 MRC map - 540ps done 6 months ago
- Wagner intercoolers
- Bilstein PSS9 coilovers
- Hotckis ARBs
- Natural leather interior
- Sunrooof
- New discs/pads allround
- Cambelt service recently done
- Gearbox service recently done
- Last serviced in June
Any idea what I should be looking at for this perfect spec Plus?
Mart.

I reckon PX at £16k or a Sale Price of £19k.

That low huh, even with the 6k worth of mods? Was hoping the mods would add around £2k to the value?
Any other thoughts?
Mart.

I reckon steve had it pretty spot on.
19-20k will only be achieved if you want to wait for the right buyer looking specifically for a mint C5.

You might be better off trying to sell some of your upgrades as you will get more money in the long run.

Like Metallic sang - Sad but True...
I actually feel in today's depressed market if you really HAD to sell desperately you would have to advertise at £17k and take £16k+ if it were offered...
But if you've patience and no real panic to sell please for the love of God hang on for the big money - we should really try to get these cars to buck the depreciation for all our (wallets) sakes!

imho your mods will make your car less desirable
people wanting a 28k '54 Plus will want it mint in OEM condition ... not tuned to the max

Make your car more desirable (standard) with my standard bits for your upgraded and cash your way.
ECU
Milly and catless pipes
Wagners
£1k and my standard parts? Sorry if that's way off the mark. It's just you wanted to see £2k extra value with the mods and I already have Coilovers, plus I'll be giving you my standard bits in exchange. Not even sure we can swap ECUs lol!

Its really not that simple, not only will there be £'s of labour for exchangeing the parts over, caveman73 will have to get his car remapped again costing £500ish.
Leave it as it is and the right buyer will come along, i would buy it !!!

Does it pass the MOT with no cats?

Very hard decision for you to make, and as always a car older than 5 or 6 years gets very subjective on pricing and that of market price Vs your desire price. I certainly accepted less than I would have liked, but hey, thats the joy of cars...
If you're in no panic, I would advertise at what you believe is a fair price. You clearly did your homework when you bought, so you have confidence of what you have to offer. the mileage on the car makes it pretty unique, so why not ask a high price, will be worth that to someone who wants a minter to potentially keep in the longer term. Everyone else who wants to pay nearer to £10k has a choice of lots of others.

Does the MOT inspector have room in his pockets for extra cash?
Besides, it should pass if it's mapped correctly and Italian tuned for a good 30mins before arrival, ne?

Been told by other owners that all you have to do is get it red hot before you take it for mot, not heard anything of the people who do mot's though whether this is true or not
