Hello All,

I'm running my RS6 Avant with MTM chip in Hong Kong and it starting to make a "weeeeeeeeee" noise when the turbo's spool up. Local garage checked all hoses and confirmed no leaks. So it must be the turbo bearings that is making the noise? My local garage quoted EUR3000 for one new Audi turbo!

Any other sources to buy cheaper new turbo's? Should I have my turbo's rebuild? Or I might as well do a turbo upgrade? To my knowledge only MTM has a turbo upgrade kit and it mega expensive at EUR20,000!

Hi there not down on power at all. Still feels pretty quick!

1.Turbo rebuild if there are no cracks in the housing.
2. CR turbos or Turbo Dynamics in the U.K may* be able to hybridize your K04 turbo I.e different internals thus more power when accompanied by injectors, remap etc

Did they do a pressure test? I bet they didn't. I'm thinking swiss-cheese intercoolers.

Naughty. You have to change them in pairs.
