It's a lot!I had a quote from Audi for a connecting pipe, a valve + sleeve and a system repressurisation - £925 including labour. That was for one corner and didn't include shock unit replacement!!!
I had the whole DRC torn out and replaced with Billy PPS9s 6 days later...

Hey Mav,
When I asked the dealer for a quote for replacing the entire DRC (about 2 months ago) and they came up with 2000-2100 euro's
I think it was 375 euro per damper, and rest was for labour (100 euro per hr) and the two valves and ofcourse filling the system.
I have replaced them with the KW v3 set for the same price.
Mic.

lol - it never gets boring with your constant needling bookfather.
It has to be that high due to London speedchumps and 9.5j x 19 / 275 30 R19s rolling stuff.
With DRC
With Billy PSS9s

I have seen an allroad going up the motorway with around 18 inches between tyre and arch

I'm with bookfather on this, I'd like another 5mm but I've got too much rubbing on front and back arches due to tyre width. If I can sort that out with some arch rolling then I'd be able to drop it that extra 5mm but then I'd foul every second boxhump in London and it'd only be a matter of time 'till I tore something off... probably my wallet in this case.
Anyways, thanks to Golf for the thread diversion. Does anyone know the actual cost of a full DRC replacement for the OP? Let's start a book. I'd say £5,600 including labour (ex vat).

Why did you go for the kw v3? and not the Bilstein pss9?
I thought the bilsteins are adjustable with the wheels on, the kw has to come off in whole...

KW I know and I knew someone that had some probs with billies which he had removed because they could not get it fixed.
I do not remember what it was though.
I do not think I will be adjusting the KW's a lot, but the fact that I can also adjust bounce and rebound appeals to me.

I had teh four units replaced at a cost of around £2500 under warranty and then 3 months later had to have the valves replaced at a cost of £2k so probably around £5k all in I would say.
If I had the chance of getting Billies etc I would have done but Audi warranty and all that scupperred that thought!!
