It looks like everybody is considering or busy with selling the beast. :audibash:
Why is that? Because of economical reasons? Electric cars are coming? Their wifes are complaining about the bills? :bash:
Are they dissapointed in the beast?

The Achilles heel gearbox could be a quick end to an RS6 though!

What do you think the average ownership is for C5 RS6 now ? seems a lot of people have them for 12 months or less and sell then on. How many people have them over 2 years ? Fancy sharing your length of ownership ? It would be interesting to hear from people who have been through the DRC replacement, Gearbox, Cambelt, Intercoolers, Alternator, Brakes discs & pads and still going - surely it get easier after that!

How many years have you had yours for ??

But will be selling soon. RS3 on it's way. Love the RS6 but can't justify having both.

HI All,

I've recently signed up to this site - having owned my RS6 for just over a year....and well what can i say....

Well, i'd been hunting one for a while (but struggld to find one in NE Scotland) only for 1 to appear as i was driving back from golf in the local garage....went in and put the deposit down within 24 hours and never looked back...!

Simply put 'I love her'...!

Space for clubs, gear and trolley, for 2 or 3 of us, and all the power and fun you could ask for....!

Grey (with the blue sparkle through it - not sure what that's called) with Audi exclusive (so i'm told by Audi) red leather and 19" spoke alloys.....! Bog standard in every area excelt for the DRC replaced, making the ride possiby a little bit firm, but i can live with that to be able to take on the Porsche C4S etc.....!!!! Brilliant.

My only concern, having noticed it recently, is the gearbox (maybe)...!

Changing for 3rd to 4th, or 4th to 5th when cold (either with paddles or in Drive mode) the rec's drop, but then climb just a touch (100 to 200rpm) and settles out....would this be normal, or a possible sign....??? I'm taking her south, to Sandwich (Royal St Georges) soon, and wondering if i should be concerned....??? Anyone any thoughts...?

When warmed up, i don't notice this problem, and she seems to pull away quite happily in any gear....!

I'd welcome any comments, as as much as i love this car - i don't know too much about her set-up.

Thanks, in advance,

Rich
