She's Gone

The new owner picked up the RS6 today, :bigwave: :bigwave:
Sounded great as it left the road, never really appreciated the sound in the same way from the drivers seat.

Really glad i bought one of these over the BMW M's that i almost went for instead. Fantasic car and i can echo the sentiments of others when they say it's almost irreplaceable for similar money. I would have another someday, or failing that a C6 RS6, never had a bad experience with Audi Ownership.

So on to the replacement, I was hoping to go all sensible and buy a diseasel, but since showing the other half a Cayman S or 2, she's now come round to my way of thinking, a cheaper diesel runaround and Cayman S for the better days. So the search begins.

Can't believe how cheap the Cayman is to run too, set of brake discs and pads all round for well under 1k, if you Shop around and fit them yourself you'll have change out of £500
Spoke to a few previous owners through the SCD club, and it seems you can run one with OPC repairs when required for similar money to your average rep mobile, sounds almost too good too be true after the RS6, having said that i only spent £1300 on maintenance while i owned mine, that was gearbox service, new top arms, new oil cooler pipe and 2 new front tyres.

The boxter S is great fun to drive, so I image the cayman is at least as good. I prefer the look of a boxter though.
