Wagners and remap?

Post by Ceveman73 » Fri Feb 25, 2011 2:30 pm

If a car has already had a stage II remap, does it need to be mapped again if Wagners are then fitted later? Anyone know?

Cheers,

M.

Depending on whose map you're running, it might do with a tweak here and there as Wagners are less restrictive than stock ICs, but only to get more, not because Wagners would make it unsafe to run ;)

Is that Doug? What sort of gains could I expect from the Wagners with a tweaked stage II map (MRC map)?

Cheers,

It's probably a solid 535bhp. It pulled 552ps at the dyno day at MRC in December but it was cold!

Mine was 540 without the Wagners in December, that's full Milltek, including downpipes and K&N filters - so be interested to see what the Wagners do.

Mine was 532 pre wagners with full milltek, 100 cell cats, itg filters and MRC tune.

Wagners and cold with no map tweak saw 552.
